    Yes, absolutely. We manufacture our boron nitride products directly at our facility in Lauben (Southern Bavaria). Our quality and environmental management systems are rigorously and reliably certified to ISO 9001 (since 2002) and ISO 14001 (since 2019).

    Sustainability is deeply rooted in our DNA. We cover over 70% of our electricity needs with our own photovoltaic systems; the remaining 100% is sourced from renewable energy. Thanks to a sophisticated energy recovery concept, we can manufacture our boron nitride sintered bodies using 100% renewable energy, making our process 40% more energy-efficient than conventional manufacturing methods. In addition, our new production facility was constructed in 2022 using resource-efficient timber construction.

    We take responsibility for people and the environment. Since 2024, our company has been successfully certified according to the strict criteria of the Economy for the Common Good (ECG). As part of our ethical business culture, we consciously refrain from collaborating with companies involved in the nuclear energy sector (uranium mining or nuclear power generation) as well as the defense and arms industries when selling our products.

    Yes. For example, our products reduce energy and fuel consumption by lowering friction and extend the product lifecycle through optimal wear protection. In addition, boron nitride is physiologically safe, highly compatible with plastics and seals, and retains its effectiveness even under the most extreme conditions. Certain HeBoFill® powders are even NSF-certified (Category HX-1) for use in lubricants with incidental food contact.
