With its three product lines PURE, CLASSIC and STRONG LINE, the HeBoSint® brand offers maximum flexibility. Thus, a wide range of different technical ceramics made of sintered boron nitride can be used, depending on customer requirements. This enables the realisation of precisely-fitting component solutions for almost any application. Depending on your individual requirement profile, we recommend the appropriate boron nitride material quality. Here, complex forms with demanding tolerances are part of our standard. We also offer pre-assembled kits consisting of our HeBoSint® components with PVD coatings as well as Helicoil thread inserts.
HeBoSint® has proven itself in many industries and is used in aerospace, medical technology, mechanical engineering, the automotive sector as well as in various research and development projects. Whether as shielding frames and strips in PVD coating technology, insulating bushing in high-temperature furnace construction, insulation plates in measurement technology or crucibles and nozzles in metal casting, HeBoSint® components offer high process reliability even under highest strain. This way, they make a decisive contribution to the end products’ quality.
HeBoSint® components can even be used under extreme conditions. They are chemically resistant to most metal, glass and salt melts. And because they are non-wettable, they are virtually predestined for use as crucible material. The HeBoSint® CLASSIC LINE manages the balancing act between mechanical strengths, thermal capabilities, highest efficiency as well as cost effectiveness. The product line convinces with its performance features, e.g. an excellent separating property when compared with most metallic melts, optimal electrical insulating effect and convincing thermal shock resistance.
In addition, the HeBoSint® CLASSIC LINE stands for reliability in the production process and ensures the long-life cycle of components. Thanks to their versatility and special performance features, HeBoSint® CLASSIC LINE products are used in a wide variety of applications. HeBoSint® STRONG LINE stands for boron nitride composite materials with very good mechanical properties, excellent gas tightness and high wear resistance. The addition of zirconium oxide or aluminium nitride increases this product line’s mechanical strength. The boron nitride share of the HeBoSint® STRONG LINE provides the boron nitride-specific product features, which include, for example, excellent separation properties or optimum electrical insulation. With the HeBoSint® STRONG LINE, high-performance products with a strong character are available for all applications. This product line is predestined especially for system components that are exposed to high mechanical loads such as cover strips in PVD systems or components for the steel industry.

Why use a sintered boron nitride soldering pad?
Dripping solder can compromise the soldering result, as it tends to stick to soldering pads and fixtures during dip or vacuum soldering. A soldering pad made of HeBoSint® provides a solution to this problem.

Why components with a wall thickness of up to 30 mm
Ideal, for example, for high-temperature applications where a thicker wall thickness is required. Wall thicknesses of up to 30 mm significantly increase the flexibility of component geometries. The pure white color remains intact even under extreme conditions.
